John T. Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies at Cal Poly, Pomona

This is a precedent study poster on the John T. Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies at Cal Poly, Pomona. Lyle’s vision for the academic community was based on the idea that students could live on a site where “daily activities were based on the value of living within the limits of available renewable resources without environmental degradation” (http://www.csupomona.edu). I believe that this research will become extremely valuable for communities when some of our once abundant natural resources began to become scarce.  

I learned the other day that Mississippi State University is or is very close to having the largest amount of research space (land) available in the United States. I did not know this, but, it makes since with all of the surrounding farm land. It could be amazing the build a similar research facility as the one at Cal Poly. Obviously, we have the land, now all we need is some money…
