Our design instructors are always tell us that our concepts and ideas should help to tell a story. This is not an easy task. To do so effectively and to do it without spoon feeding the viewer is a true gift. Well, here is an artist that in my opinion is very capable of extracting fascinating stories from his work. Looking at one of his paintings is like stepping in to the middle of his scene and typically one of your first thoughts is “what the hell is going on here!”
His name is Glenn Barr. I have been checking out his work for several years and he is one of favorite artists. I probably identify more with some his older work, but I find it all captivating. Hope you enjoy.
