Water Permeable Concrete

In our landscape architecture classes were hear about a lot different methods of controlling stormwater runoff, permeable concrete being one of them. But, this was the first example that I have seen in person. The voids in the concrete allowed the water to soak in almost immediately. A gravel layer under the concrete then drained the water away to a spot where it could be managed instead of becoming runoff. Technology is the coolest.
